Established in the year 1975, the Government of Uttar Pradesh as Avadh University and is today known as the Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University (RMLAU) Faizabad. The University campus is spread over an area of 112 acres and is one of the premier higher education institutions in UP.
